My First Day at School Essay

Introduction - I passed class V from a Primary School. On 8th July, 2009 I went to B.L. Jain High School, Aligarh with my father. I went there for admission to class VI. A number of students also came for admission.

School Building - As I entered the gate, I was wonder-struck to see the grand building. I saw groups of boys everywhere. Pindrop silence impressed me.

School Prayer - When the bell rang I saw that all the students had gathered on the prayer ground for prayer. When the prayer was over they went to their classes marching in lines smilingly.

My admission - I with my father entered the Principal's office. My father told the Principal that I wanted admission in class VI. Seeing my excellent marks of class V, the Principal ordered his clerk to give an admission form to my father. My father filled it up. The Principal put his signature on the form. Then he ordered a peon to take me to my class teacher. My father paid all the required fees and charges to the clerk. The class teacher wrote my name in the register of class VI-A and asked me to sit in the class.

Description of the studnets and the class- Thus I went to class VI A. My class room was very big. It was very neat and clean. There were forty boys in the class. Every boy had his own table and chair. Some boys made fun of me; while some of them were quite kind. They introduced me to their friends.

Conclusion - At 11.30 am. the school time was over. The bell rang. I returned home and described everything about my first day at school to my mother.
